Some go so far as to stand in defense of the Gospel, while promoting false prophets, or they are partaking of the "religious" teachings proffered by those who clearly reject Jesus Christ.

Some attempt to make a pretense of defending the Word of God while never appearing to actually apply it. How can one claim to live for Jesus Christ, and indeed may have at some point agreed with the truth of Christ, at least in their mind, yet return to serving the things that have been crucified with Christ?
